Chris's training in martial arts began in 1988, and he has been instructing since 1991. He's had experience in a good mix of martial arts, namely Ninjutsu, Karate, Tai Chi and Brazilian Jujutsu.
Over the years, he has taught students between the ages of 3 and 64, as well as students with disabilities. He's had to make allowances for students from different cultural backgrounds. All in all, it has taught him much about tolerance, patience, and the importance of being able to adapt to varying needs.
His experience as an instructor extends to term based contracts with primary and secondary schools, and public demonstrations.
